Hosting (Vercel)

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you visit the site, Vercel processes technically necessary data (including IP address, date and time of access, requested page, browser identifier) in server log files. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing the website securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

A data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) is in place with Vercel. Vercel is a US provider; transfers to the USA may occur and are safeguarded by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) and Vercel’s certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

TODO: verify Vercel’s DPF certification status before launch and adjust the wording if necessary.

Contact form (Formspree)

For the contact form we use the Formspree service by Formspree, Inc. (USA). The data entered in the form (name, email address, message) is received by Formspree and forwarded to us by email. The legal basis is the handling of your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Formspree is a US provider; the transfer is safeguarded by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC).

TODO: conclude the Formspree DPA, add the provider’s address and verify the certification status.

Contact

If you contact us by email or phone, we process the details you provide (name, contact data, content of the enquiry) to handle the enquiry and any follow-up questions (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The data is deleted once it is no longer required, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, e.g. the LDI Nordrhein-Westfalen (Germany).
